Is there anything more nerve-wracking than building a brand-new custom home? After the stressful process, there is nothing you want more than to make the former construction site feel like your forever home as quickly as possible.

My client moved into her luxury home and was trying to put everything together on her own … with some occasional “assistance” from her caring husband. He even volunteered to “unpack the boxes” (insert Joey Tribiani here doing his quotation mark fingers) in the kitchen. Little did my client know that what he was actually doing was just moving items from one box to another. In his mind, he was categorizing. In her mind, he was wasting a lot of time and her patience.

Pantry Organization

Westfield

Abbie reached out to us to come to her rescue and relieve her husband of his “sorting.”

She wanted her pantry up and running so her family could stop eating out every night and her kids could find their long-lost snack stash.

There were a few challenges in this new space since the open shelving was shallow and very high; and, the bottom shelving was very deep. (wink, wink :: this is why you hire us for our organizing consulting services before building your dream home, so we can avoid challenges just like these).

Luckily, our team loves a challenge and getting the opportunity to creatively problem-solve for our clients. By sourcing product that complemented the warmth of the acacia woodwork and the coolness of the grey/white kitchen, we made it all work while still highlighting the openness and overall beauty of this walk-in pantry.

“Thank gosh Lisa and her team were able to come when they did. Otherwise, we'd still be living in boxes and ordering takeout every night. The new pantry is as comforting as a home-cooked meal.”

~ Abbie, Mom of 2, General Partner
